The added exterior cladding is porous, screening 85 percent rainfall, and was inspired by the pattern of the original siding. The new metal roof adds to a traditional barn style. Maintaining the existing doorway, extra depth was added to the façade for a more monumental and sculptural foyer, as well as conveniently containing the electrical system.
