This restoration of a 1700s barn was adapted for a multipurpose car garage and garden shed. A new foundation was poured and new walls and roof were built, but the frame and original proportions remained. Polycarbonate sheeting was placed as the back wall to allow diffused natural lighting during the day and to illuminate the yard at night as a large lantern.
