Gene Montez Flores: Landscapes 1980-2018
It was my absolute pleasure to curate this show of Gene's work.
The sculptures and wall panels in the exhibit are works that span a period of almost 40 years of Gene's artistic career. This is the first time these works have been collected into a single show.
The unifying theme of the exhibit is the interplay between the elements; and the resulting memories that landscapes hold.

The opening is Saturday, June 16th at 3 pm.
The exhibit will be on view until October 31, 2018.
The works on view are from the artist's private collection and made available with the generous support of the Flores family and Turn Park Art Space.
